Anyone own a Saluki Genghis

After looking all of the different type of bows Lukas makes i have settled on a Genghis. I love to do the medieval reenactments and with its looks....simple riser handle and no cut in shelf it will have a closer appearance to the originals.
So does anyone else have one? What aood arrows are you useing out of it? How fast is it really...and I have been told that they can be noisy because of the string slap on the siyahs.
and how hard is it really to get used to a thumbring?

I have nothing relevant to share Lance, but that is one sweet looking bow you picked out

I have shot a Genghis and I owned a Genghis Sport. You don’t need to shoot a thumb ring. The Genghis that I shot had a small shelf like a longbow. My scythian isn’t real loud and if I remember right the Genghis wasn’t all that loud either. Lukas makes some great bows and you wont be disappointed in a bow that he has made.
