My New Year's Resolution!
« on: January 07, 2009, 06:44:00 PM »
Well...after the last couple of years of playing the compound vs recurve game, I followed through on my 2009 resolution to sell my compound(s) and just use my recurve.  Over the last few months, I have sold 2 other compounds one by one and just last night, I sold my last (and newest) compound.

May seem kind of wierd to those of you who have been shooting stickbows for a while but I originally thought I might regret doing it but I can honestly say there is no regret.  I am really excited at what this year brings.

Stick with it and you are in for the time of your life. Remember... Wiggle in with a good bunch of other Trad Shooters, learn, learn and learn. You'll never look back!

Well then, I expect to see you at the CTAS High Country Shoot this year.  The banquet is coming up too.  You won't be sorry.

I sold both of my compounds two and a half years ago now and I could not be happier.  Welcome to the trad only community.  :campfire:    :archer:    :coffee:

My resolution was "no more new bows!!!' as I really do need to save $$$ to pay off my up-coming bear hunt with Homer Ocean Charters.

Then the Post office calls yesterday [1-7-09]"You have a couple long boxes down here"... Guess I blew that one.....and it's not even Feburary yet.  :goldtooth:
