Here's the thing...EVERY county in the state has a lot of deer, and every county is capable of producing a Booner...but there is NO PLACE that they're tied up to every tree....
Populations are sparser the farther west you go, but they tend to concentrate on riparian cover and food source...farther east has more timber, more deer, and they're more "scattered"...
Public access is better in the east, but there are more people so you're more likely to run in to competition...west is more open to a "knock on the door", although the outfitting business has tied a lot of ground up in leases....
Best idea would be to figure out the type of country you want to hunt, then concentrate your efforts in that direction....
