Feather burner?

What exactly does a feather burner do?
Its not the size of the animal you hunt that matters. Its how you hunt the animal.

Ther is a good pictue of a Young Trimmer in great shape on the arrow classifieds.  The nochrome wire is shaped to the fletch size you want.  It gets red hot when you tunr it on and zips through the feather neat and trim.  Does stink a bit!

I have felt for years that it does the best shop getting a tight and even fletch.  I believe it is easier to gule on a pice of full height feather and trim the way you want.

I know there are a lot of die cuts being used, but ....

Learn to burn and you'll never turn (back)!

Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.
