Anybody got pics and opinions of a Camo Habu?  I have a bow on order and am considering making it camo.

There are some pics on his website, of the camo special.  They are kind of hard to find, but they are there.

Jeff,

Didn't you buy (and rave about) my Camo Habu recurve LAST year?

I did.  I just wanted to see some more pics.  Especially of a Vyperkahn.  I never should have sold that bow.  It is the smoothest bow I've had.

Also wanted to get opinions from others that have owned or shot a camo version to see what others thought about this option.

send me an email address or post one, i can't find my photobucket account so i'd have to email you some pics of mine.  i really like the camo option.  i've already got a nice cocobolo death adder, and i've got other bows in bocote and juniper so i thought the camo would be unique and it is, it looks a lot cooler in person that on a pic. the vyperkahn is a ridiculously awesome bow.

Centaurshooter,
I sent you my email address.  Thanks.  I have owned 2 cocobolo Habus and one Camo but it was the TD Recurve.  I have one on order and was wondering about camo.  I also haven't personally seen one in bocote.  I'd like to see that as well.

Smooth is the word, that was an awesome bow and now there's TWO of us that wish we'd have kept it!!    :knothead:

Good luck with your Vyperkahn if you get one.

Take care,

Yep, I think I'm going to order a viperkahn with the longbow limbs before long.  I've been a Habu fan for a while now.  I bet I've had 10 or 12 bows in the last few years, but I've got a Habu recurve that I always hang on too.  It's also the bow I grab most of the time when I'm getting ready to hunt.  I have not even had a viperkahn in my hand, but I'm sure it's an awesome bow.

Im another who loves the Habus.  I recently aquired a Death Adder, and it is one of the best shooting bows I have ever held, not to mention beautiful.  Hope to get a Viperkahn some day, when there is more $$ in the bank account.
