New Holm-Made Osprey
« on: January 12, 2009, 10:00:00 PM »
Sorry, but I don't know how to post pics, but if I could, you would see the craftmanship of this bow.  My 19 year old son and I ordered this bow and got it about 2-3 weeks later.  SWEET shooter and whisper quite!!!!!  If anyone is looking for a hybrd bow, that is reasonably priced and beautiful, give Chad a call!!  I myself shoot a RER Vortex and am impressed with both!!!  If there are any other Holm Made shooters out there, let me know what you think.

Very well made bow. I have Chad's personal recurve here on loan and it's a shooter.

If you like Chad's work, better order what you want now. As he get's better known his prices are going to have to go up. He isn't making any money on them now is for sure, he still has a "real" job to keep the family fed.

I am a new owner of an Osprey as well.  Just received it a couple of weeks ago. Figured cherry lams with a bocote riser.  It is gorgeous.  Pulls 47# at my 27" draw.  Chad does great work and is very good to deal with.

I have had an Osprey since last summer. It is a wonderfully made bow that shoot extremely well. Its speed really surprised me. Although it does not have any high tech materials, it shoots as fast as my bows that do. David Knipes is right when he says that Chad's prices are going to have to go up. Chad is a super guy to work with and gives you the bow you want. Of the bows I have shot personally, I can definitely say that the Holm-Made bows are the best bargain out there and one of the best shooting bows you can buy at any price.

After 34 years of shooting trad bows and horse trading them I have finally found the perfect longbow for me, it is an Osprey. Forgivness is the number one trait, never have I shot tighter groups and it doesn't flare up my elbow when shooting, which means there is virtually no shock. Chad is great to deal with and his number one goal is to make sure you are happy as a customer, get one while the price is right.

i met Chad at a shoot last summer, he is a heck of a nice guy.  I got to shoot some of his demo bows he had with.  I had a hard time deciding if i liked the River Runner recurve, or the Osprey longbow better.  They are both great bows.  I have shot bows that cost almost twice as much, but i in my opinion Chad's bow are smoother, and faster.  I ended up getting an Osprey long bow that he had with him that day.  As well as the bow fit me, it was like Chad made it for me ahead of time.

Thanks guys.  I really appreciate it to see someone appreciate one of my bows.  It's what makes this a rewarding endeavor.  The bows look ever better with fresh blood smeared on them.  I like the looks of my personal bows with river bottem mud stuck to them as well.  The bows are made to make memories with. Kill something and send me a picture.  Chad
