March 13-15, 2009 the West Virginia Bowhunters Association will host their annual Banquet at the Days Motel in Flatwoods, WV. The guest speaker will be Barry Wensel.
President Ed McMinn had approached me about a special auction package and together with the Groscup family we have put together a pretty cool package. There will be one of the late Rev. Stacy Groscup's arrows on a display board with engraved nameplate and two 8x10 photos from the family's collection of Stacy. The flu-flu is well used and is a beautiful tribute to a great man. It is a special collection.
Since I am Stacy's protege', I have donated one of my stage arrows. In my 24 years on stage, I have signed and numbered less than 30 arrows. This is #15. I'll add a personalized publicity photo to the package too.
We are also looking for a photo of Stacy and I together for the package.
Stacy was the 49th inductee into the Archery Hall of Fame and was the first archer to ever hit seven aspirin from mid air in a row without a miss. A feat that has never been matched. If you want to read more about Stacy, visit the tribute site at:
http://stacylgroscup.memory-of.com/About.aspx This is the first and only time a package like this has been sold. If you are an arrow collector you may want to contact the WVBHA about this package.
You can call (304)746-0750 for more information or (304)449-1732 to obtain tickets to the banquet.
Thanks -- this money will go to the West Virginia Bowhunter's Association. Stacy was the master.... and put me on stage for the first time 24 years ago.

I copied and pasted this from another Trad Forum. There's is some great info in the post and a great opportunity to participate in an auction for some arrows from two of the great trick shot artists of our time.
