I'd say pretty much anywhere in Hidalgo County - especially south of I-10 in the Lordsburg area. I've also seen javelina in the Rodeo and Hachita areas as well.

be sure and check which hunt you were drawn for. you can only hunt hidalgo county with the JAV-1-102 tag. hidalgo county does have a large population of javi's, but if you were drawn for JAV-1-100, pm me for some alternative spots.

I've never heard of that, you better check the regs before you mess up. South of Carlsbad Caverns is the only area I've chased them here in the state...O.L.

Thanks again guys! Mike, my hunt is the JAV-1-102 tag, so I will research Hidalgo Co.
O.L., my tag says I can hunt GMU's 19, and 23-27. So I guess I overestated the number of units a bit, I forgot how many you guys have down there!
Good info, quick responses, I like this TradGang thing! Good shootin', Ben
