Diagonal. 10 o'clock and 4 o'clock. I don't think it makes a difference but I do like to have the same sight picture. Gary

I've gone diagonal for years even when I shot a compound many moons ago. Used Bear Razor heads and have always had good arrow flight

I go diagonal so it's horizontal with my cant of my bow.  Just gives me the same picture at the shot.  With vertical, I seem to be distracted my the blade edge.  Flight makes no difference...Doc

Used to mount them vertical, using the back of broadhead as a draw-check. I had a few exciting experiences with game when I drew back with too much "gusto"! De-strung the arrow. Don't do virtical any more, don't use the BH as a draw-check either!
Horizontal for two blade, not too fussy on three blade(W.W.). I usually mount the 3 blade opposite to the fletching(3fletch).

I place my two bladers so that they are at 11 and 5 o'clock when the bow is vertical.

This is to make it perfectly vertical when I cant my bow.

I prefer the 4 blade Ace and test shooting did not make any significant difference.  I think I like vertical with the main blade for no scientific reason.

Im Like Ishi, Make them Vertical, then thell slide inbertween the Rids,  :)  I read in a book that Neither of us have figured out that the arrow spins in Flight.  :)

When i was reading Hunting the hard way, Hill uses to make them vertical and when the back of that head touched the risor it was time to loos, it worked for him, but  iv never hit full draw yet,  :)   :)   :)

Agree with Rob, never noticed enough difference to be worth worrying about.

I glue them on without a second thought about orientation. Like Tony I just make sure the point is forward!

Most of the time vertical. If I overdraw the broadhead will touch my finger. Big Ed

DT, I've always mounted 2 bl vertical and my 3 bl with one blade up...that way the site picture is always the same...but in all honesty, I don't notice the arrow at all when I shoot, so I don't think it makes a bit of diff....
......but "in my head" it does,if you know what I mean    :knothead:
