Snuffer 125 grain

I just bought a new unopened package of 6 Snuffers, 125 grain screw ins, from a guy that had no need for them. I got them so cheap that I hate to tell what I paid for them! I plan on putting them on Beman 400's with 5" RW feathers, shot from a 50# recurve.
 I was just wondering what thoughts any of you may have about these broadheads.

i shot them on goldtip 5575 took 4 hogs in texas and 2 does in ky see no need to change

In my experience with Magnus (in general) screw on broadheads is, the glue they use on the adapter isn't very strong.

If those were my heads, I would heat the head enough that is seperates from the adapter, clean, and use a good two part epoxy to glue them back together.

No more lost heads in targets or separation from the adapter.

Other then that, a great head.

They are very good some say the best! I like to put 100gr steel abapters for carbon arrow high foc . if you go to reglue them with epoxy  make sure they are clean

The glue was a problem on the older Magnus heads with adapters, but they corrected it a few years ago.  No way in telling which heads you have but if you lose even one I'd change them all.

Snuffers are my favorite heads.

125 screw-ins are a 100gr snuffer w/ a 25gr adapter.I've found any snuffer under 145gr glue on are not very tough.IMO,if one wants to shoot snuffers.Stick to the 145's or 160's glue-on.

I killed four goats, three of which were excellent billies, with the 125 grain Snuffer - pass-throughs on every one of them, with three being one-arrow kills.

This Is what I've found as well. My old ones were always coming off but the newer ones haven't done this yet.

My readings were different then this on my grain scale. The package does say 125 grain like you said but my screw In 125's weighed out at 130 grains Instead. I'll also agree that there not as tough as the heavier models.

My take on Snuffers Is there one of the best 3 blade broad heads out there If not the best. I've been shooting them for 15 years and yet have I had a penetration problem or a durability problem while using them for hunting. I don't think there as strong as they once were but there still a strong head IMO.
