Dorado vs. GM2 Arm Slap
« on: January 21, 2009, 04:05:00 PM »
I love the way my GM2 shoots as it is one of the most accurate bows I have ever owned, however, I do experience a fair amount of arm slap with this bow for whatever reason. Has anyone out there who has shot both the GM2 and the Dorado noticed that one design may be more prone to arm slap than the other?

Thanks for your responses

The brace hieght for both is the same, 7 to 8 inches. Maybe try tweaking your grip a little.

Most of the time its your overdrawing of the bow that cause`s this. If your draw is 29 and you draw back 31 then you`ll hit your arm every time. Thats what happens to me when I shoot.....
its not the size of the dog in the fight but the size of the fight in the dog
