My First Osage Bow-PICS.

Hey guys. Just wanted to kinda show off my first Osage bow build from years past. It's 68" long and draws 67#@28" so it's really too heavy for me to shoot much at all, but it's overbuilt so I plan to rework it down to around 50-55#. It's about 10 years old.

It looks like you did some great work on that one. The tiller looks perfect. Perfect weight for me!

Thanks for the compliments, guys.
Deathmaster, I've got a leather grip cover stitched on it with fake sinew thread. There are more pics of it on another selfbow thread topic in POWWOW.

Wow! That is a nice looking bow. Looks to be very symetrical. By that I mean the limbs bend well together. I saw pics of one earlier today where the bottom limb looked like it was bent more than the top. Made the bow look funny at full draw.

Nice looking bow. Reminds me of the style I made 10 years ago. Looking forward to your re-build. Pat
