Good multi-purpose tomahawks
« on: January 21, 2009, 11:46:00 PM »
I'm looking for a good multi-purpose tomahawk and was curious if anybody had any good recommendations.  I definitely want one to throw but would also like to use it as a camp axe and possible weapon if say a hog charges. I really like the looks of the shrew hawk but am not sure if it would be good to throw.  All opinions are welcome and very much appreciated.

Thanks,
Anthony

I think I've seen a video with Ron throwing it. I know he was throwing a tomahawk of some kind so he should know if it's good to throw.

The Shrew hawk does throw very well and it is extremely handy in the woods.

Thank you all very much for the input.  I am about sold on the shrew.  Anybody else have an opinion?

Thanks again,
Anthony
