first bow purchase!!

I've been shooting trad bows my whole life but have never actually purchased a bow. I was given a checkmate falcon by my dad a while ago and it's been great, but I wanted something different.

My "best Christmas gift ever" was a d-style longbow my dad had custom made for me when I was a kid. I still have it and have loved it since I got it. For a while now I've been wanting to get a bow similar to that very special bow...and finally, after saving a while, here it is.

Howard Hill "big five" 55#@25" (I draw 27.5)

Purchased used, but it's in amazing condition! I love it.

Here's pics of the new and the old, and one with my little girl. I'm excited to pass that old bow down to the next generation!

Soon she'll be giving me lessons!
