tightening up nocks

I like the classic index nocks, but they are too loose for the FF string on my Morrison. What's the best way to tighten up these nocks?

Stick the nocks(while they are on your arrow) in hot water for a short while and pinch them together, either with your teeth or with a pair of pliers. Pat

The other option is to wrap a bit of dental floss around the string at the nocking point.

Or, rewrap your entire serving with a larger diameter thread such as Halo.

I too think you'll have better results with the wrap. I've used dental floss and sinew both with really good results.

Mike, I already have 2 string nocks, but I shoot 3 under and the arrows are literally falling off the string at full draw. I haven't dry fired it yet, but I'm afraid I will. So far I've been biting the nocks to pinch them down a little.
BTW, my daughter read "bunny busting buddy" and gave me a look like I was some kind of....never mind.

yup, just change your serving diameter. Simple to do. If thats not enough (test it with a couple inches first before you go and do a complete reserve tie off and find out it's still too loose or now too tight), you can take pieces of string material and server over that though it can be a pain, it does work. Another option is to use a smaller serving and double serve.

That boiling water thing works like A+. I have much the same problem, I think I'm gonna try the Halo serving idea.

Interesting...Three fingers under should push your arrow "up" into the nocking point...Maybe ya need to take that bottom brass nock point off the string...
I'm far from an expert...
...Hope things work out for you...Oh yea...I had that same problem with an "old" string...A little string wax got me through the 3D shoot...Then I put a new string on when I got home...
