Who makes Souther Draw?
« on: January 24, 2009, 02:07:00 PM »
I'm waiting on a longbow I bought from slayer1 (should be here sometime this coming week-IhopeIhopeIhope!)
Can anyone tell me who makes it, do they have a website? I'd like to get some information on it as far as recommended brace height, etc.

(Hope I entered the pic address correctly)

Not trying to be smart but I'd ask slayer1.

Any more pics you could post??

Happy hunting,

Did ask....he wasn't sure either. He got it in a trade from someone else and hasn't been able to get in contact with him.

I can't remember but I think his first name is Jeff,he used to sell them through Sipsey River he could tell you the bowyers name.I have shot a couple of them and they were solid bows, shot very well and smooth and I liked to grip. And a very good buy for a T/D longbow,I think they were around $475 new.I have a few buddies that have them and they all like them.

JRY309,
thanks for the info. Glad to hear some input on it's performance.

I'll check into Sipsey and see if I can find out more.

Brace should be in the area of 7" to 7 1/2".  Jeff Carter is the bowyer and he lives in Alabama. Sispey River was a dealer. I have two Southern Draws and they are quick and extremely smooth shooting bows.  no website for Jeff but if you want contact info on him pm me.
