Does anybody make a takedown bow that uses either longbow, hybrid, or recurve limbs, depending on which the shooter wants to use at that time? I'm just curious about it.

Don't know of anyone who is making all three limbs for one riser. Several build really nice bows that accept hybrid and recurve limbs. There are some tradeoffs. Each limb type has an optimum limb pad angle on the riser. For example, recurve would generally require the most angle, hybrid somewhat less, and longbow, practically none. Any riser that accommodates two types of limbs probably compromises somewhere between the two optimal angles.

Forgot about the ILFs Dick. That's the only style bow that has an adjustable limb pad so to speak. Of course, the pad doesn't move, but the limb's orientation to it can/does.

Lewis Hollow= Hybrid Longbow and recurve limbs. Great bow and an extra set of limbs were 270.00 last time I checked. Chris is a Sponsor here to boot.

I believe he asked about three different sets of limbs (longbow, hybrid and recurve) on the same riser. A lot of folks make risers that will handle any two sets of limbs, but not all three. The ILF riser should handle all three, as Dick indicates. I haven't seen any straight limbs for an ILF riser on Bob Morrison's or Bob Lee's site. I'll check again.

Just checked. The Morrison Shawnee accepts recurve and hybrid limbs. No straight or mild r/d limbs. Bob Lee risers accept recurve and what appears to be a mild r/d longbow limbs. If we call them that, then the hybrid is missing from the lineup. Of course, lots of other bowyers make risers that accept recurve and hybrid limbs as well. Hope we've satisfied your curiosity.
