Brook, Indiana?
« on: January 28, 2009, 02:10:00 PM »
I may be able to hunt some private ground near Brook, Indiana.  I was hoping someone on here might be familiar with the area and could let me know what the hunting is like there.  Quantity and quality of deer, are there turkeys?  Thanks for any help, Sam

Northwestern IN is tough. Lots of open ag land.  But there are deer there.  About 1,000 deer were killed in Newton County in 2007.  I wouldn't say turkey is a good bet up there.  In 2008, they killed 86 birds total in Newton County.
Take a kid hunting!
