Is Dan Quillion still in business?
« on: January 29, 2009, 07:18:00 PM »
My buddy has a 68" that was made back in the 80's. Man it shoots good. Anybody have any information or know if he is still around? I have read the name here before but never paid it that much attention.

As noted, he passed away, but if you're looking for one of his bows you can find them fairly regularly in the classifieds.

Dan sold Archery Traditions to the Kenny family several years ago. They are still in business. DD, Dan son lives in the area but is in the banking business. My Bamboo Longhunter is the one bow I'll never sell.

I believe Owen Jeffery in Columbia SC made all of Dan's bows.   Pat
