Hey bud, what part of Tn are you from?  I'm in Dyer co (northwest).  We have the Tennessee Traditional Archery Society banquet coming up.  Go over to the trad clubs forums and check us out.  We'd love to have you join us.  T.J.Conrads is going to be the speaker, it will be all weekend (Feb 27/Mar 1) in Clarksville.  If you get to come bring your bow, appettite, and have a good time with us.  If you don't have your bow by then don't worry, you can shoot mine or anyone else's I'm sure.  Shoot me an email if you want. Take care.

My wheels came off in august of '04.  Was loaned a Bear Montana so I could go to the OSTA state shoot with my uncle and two of our friends.  I bought the Montana a week later and honestly haven't shot the wheel bow since the first day I shot that longbow.  By the way, just as Mysticguido said you're in for it now sucker, it truly is an addiction.

Hahahaha..  yeah, i believe it!

And Ethan, I live in north middle Tn.  Maybe an hour or so from Clarksville.  That sounds great man, thanks for the invite.  I think i'll have my bow by then.  Apparently James put me in the "express" lane!

Sorry to all the guys that are waiting for one of his bows.  But I'm supposed to deploy to either Iraq or Afghanistan in Oct. and I wanted to hunt something with trad stuff before i left.  So he said he could get it done for me in a few weeks to give me time to practice up for turkeys.

I took off my wheels in '86.

Welcome to the gang. Was 28 years for me since I had shot a bow (a compound at that time) and I didn't want a compound when I started back into it. I went from no bow to a recurve and a longbow in about a 3 week period. Ya ain't done getting bows yet!

Killdeer....iffin ya wants I'll post ya a picture.

Me too..  I thought looking for the bow was difficult!  That may have been the easy part..lol.

now it's, "what type of quiver do i want, what arrows, feathers, broadheads, shoothing glove, and arm guard?!?!"

It sure is fun looking at all the stuff!

Welcome to the dark side,  1 will never be enough.    Life is to short to shoot an ugly bow.
Now then, get your weapons ~ your quiver and bow ~ and go out to the open country to hunt some wild game for me.  Gen. 27.3
