I have a couple of big name bows and love them, but the last two bows I bought were Sapphires--one for me and one for a valued friend.  My bow flat out outshoots my biggest name bow for speed on a chronograph.  I put $100 in raffle tickets toward one of Ernie's bows for my son and for the cause at the Traditional Bowhunters of Montana banquet this weekend.  I'll be buying another set of limbs from him soon.  I can't get a lot more emphatic than that, except to echo the words of Iacavazzi and others here.  He's a terrific guy and a great bowyer.

ernie's bows are fantastic! as many have said and as my shooting machine can attest too, his bows perform as well as or better than anything out there and i have tested all the big names.

another wonderful thing about them is that they are dead quiet. since there is no string slap on them, they are quiet enough to be hunted with without the use of string silencers. with silencers, they are among the quietest longbows i have shot.

what nobody has mentioned is the grip..... ernie is a heck of a shot in his own right and so the grip is a very important feature to him. his grip is unique looking but exceptionally comfortable and as torque free as they come.

ernie definately doesn't charge enough money for his bows!

Brandon and Shapeshifter have both given me a load of good advice on building bows... if you want to see a true work of art... you should see their bows...

Jock, Brandon is going to have a bow at MBA 2010...you can spend another $100 on that one! :0)

Thanks all...
