Skookum One Arrow Quiver?

Has anyone uses a Skookum One Arrow Quiver? I'm thinking of getting the 3 blade model and wanted to know what yall think of them.

I use the 2-blade, 2-Arrow model, and assume it is much the same as the 1-arrow except for the shaft clip.  Well made, and obviously, it weighs next to nothing.  Some find the clearance between the shaft and the back side of your bow hand a little tight, especially with gloves.

I have also used a solo-stalker hood tied on the limb, and a piggy-backer on the lower limb (taken off for the shot).  Others have modified the piggy-backer with a lewather lace and also tied it on.

Just giving you some ideas..... but the Skookum is a good quiver.

I also have the two blade two arrow model and as far as bow quivers go it's the only one I'll ever use.  As Bob said the clearance on the outside of your bow is a little tight but you get used to it.  They weigh next to nothing so they don't affect your shooting and they don't oncrease bow noise.  I'd recommend it.JMO

I use the Ace in the Hole 2 blade quiver from Black Widow. Holds one arrow on my bow within easy reach and the rest in my back quiver. Doesn't add a lot of weight to the Bow.

I really like mine. I have two and they do not effect bow performance at all.

Just got mine from Mike at The Nocking Point (sponsor here); great service and price. I like it so far; quite and doesn't affect my shooting. If clearance is a problem you can increase it by putting a piece of tubing on the section of wire tie next to the bow. I'll give it a field test next week at Ray Hammonds.

I got mine (3 blade type) from three rivers and I like it. I am a newbie to the sport but really like that it is small and light. I use it in conjunction with my back quiver. It is great to stalk with as my back quiver always catches on twigs and stuff. My bow is a samick stingray recurve 58"

I'd love to post a picture, but the laughs you would get of 34" arrows on a 56" bow.......  :scared:

I use the solo stalker for many years from ABS. I do, however, take it off on stand as the slap on release is disquieting. I just tie it on going in and take it off on stand. Slick!

always right there...ready to go with small movement.

Folks,
Have you noticed these quivers, especially the 2 arrow model, having a material effect on arrow spine?

I am thinking about purchasing the two arrow model.

Thanks.  Craig.

Rufus,
Is that a Skookum brand quiver on your bow?

I have the 1 arrow 3 blade, the 2 arrow 2 blade, and 2 of the 3 arrow. Can't go wrong with any of them.

I have the dual stalker on a longbow and like it a lot; low weight to carry, seems like it may have settled the bow down a little, does not make any noise, etc. It does, because of the low clearance, not allow me to carry the same way as before. I have aluminum arrows in now and do notice that there is some side force that is placed on them and since I am looking at change over to wood arrows I am wondering if the continued side force if applied to wood arrows, especially when wet, would cause arrows to bow? Any one had this happen?
Regard’s,
Jim
