Received a DVD in the mail yesterday, (from the classifieds here). Awsome dvd !! It's not what I expected, but more then I expected. There are a few kill shots in it, but that was not the real intention of the production. They did a terrific job and it's a must for those that do not own it.
The turkey footage was great.
I gotta get October Whitetails 1 and 2.

Primal Dreams is the Gold Standard of bowhunting videos.

Someday you and I will take the Great Hart by our own skill alone, and with an arrow. And then the Little Gods of the Woods will chuckle and rub their hands and say, "Look, Brothers. An Archer! The Old Times are not altogether gone!"

It really is wonderful. In addition to being aesthetically pleasing I really resonated with philosophical narration of the Wensel bros. Found myself several times saying, "Yes! Yes! That's why I bow hunt!"
Warning, though, watching it will have the effect of turning you off to the self congratulatory high fiving nature of a lot of hunting programs.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about our film. It has touched many more lives than we will ever know. Yes we (Brother of the Bow) are working on another film that will also help others feel and live our passion. We do not have a set time when it will be ready, but plan to do our best.
Thanks again,
Mike

I'm pretty sure it was Herdbull who sold me my copy while attending denton hill last July. I'm looking forward to the next one in the works.
Wondering if Herdbull and Barry will make denton hill this coming July?

We had a great time at Denton Hill, but I don't think we can make it this year. Gene will be in Montana or Africa, and Barry will be in New Hampshire. Myself and by brothers plan to be at Comptons in June at the Brothers of the Bow booth.
Please stop by and say hi,
Mike

Mike, I was speaking with Gene and Barry in Texas a little bit ago, and we were trying to figure out where you live in comparison to me. Do you live up in the northern part of the state? I live in Kankakee, and was just curious. Take care.

When I am working around the house I will put it in and play it on repeat so it starts over and over so when I walk by I can watch a few minutes of it, and then go about my chores. It really reminds me of the wild kingdom show that used to be on when I was a kid. Not one sponsor plug in it. The way it should be. I credit October Whitetails for getting me interested in the outdoors and bowhunting when I was a kid.
