OK guys, I need your help on this one. Lets say my mom gets a 35# Red Stag Longbow from Samick, because she enjoys shooting and wants her own bow, and for me to shoot a little to recover from tendonitis.
I don't know her draw length but lets say it's around 25". What arrows would you say would be fitting for this bow, and heavy enough for her to maybe hunt with. I was looking at Easton XX75 Platinum Plus shafts, that I would cut to maybe 28" and put a 125gr. tip on with insert. Would this work?
Or should I buy a bigger aluminum, say 2016, and leave them longer and/or put a little more weight up front?
What have been your experiences with lighter bows like this?
I know there are a lot of variables, just tell me what you think.
Thanks,
Zack
