My newest longbow!!!
« on: February 09, 2009, 05:44:00 PM »
I just got this one today. I bought it from the classifieds on another site. It was made for a guy with much bigger hands that me, but it still feels better than my Bear Montana. It's a 66" J.D. Berry Appollo 56#@30" (50#@28" my draw length). I LOVE THIS BOW!!! It shoots much better than my Montana and is much more comfortable.

The target pic is of the first six arrows I threw from this bow. I couldn't believe it. The target was at 20 yards.

Now I REALLY can't wait to get my NEW J.D. Berry Viper! That one will be made for "ME"...lol

I may just send this one to James and have him rework the grip to fit me. It would be nice to have a backup like this one.

Hope you like it, I sure do!

That's a beaut.  I bet it will compete for #1 with the bow you have coming.  A fella could have worse problems.

Great looking bow.  I've tried the montana as well and just didn't like the big blocky grip.

This is a pic of the first six arrows I shot with it. Didn't adjust anything. The target was at 20 yards.

Outstanding shooting. And the bow ain't bad, either, lol!

I would not rework the handle. It looks in proportion to the bow.

Shooting like that I wouldn't change anything. If it aint broke don't fix it.
Beautiful bow!
