My new Sweet Grass!!!
« on: February 10, 2009, 02:53:00 PM »
Ok I've been busy and now it's time to post some pics! Went out stumping in gorgeous Feb weather. Saw a few deer and some great sign. This is the best "D" bow I have ever shot!!!!! Gregg is one heck of a craftsman!!

Look halfway up the big tree and to the left. You'll see a doe I snuck up on.
Just one more step please!

Gregg makes a magnificent bow, and yours is definitely one of them. Congratulations on that Sweet Grass.

Ah.. I forgot. Bamboo limb cores with yew on the outside. Cocoblo in the riser with a maple accent stripe. I forgot the other wood in the riser, I think it's yew.
This bow weighs almost nothing, yet has no handshock! I could shoot it without string silencers, but the fur dresses it up a bit. Has just a subtle thump sound on release.
I've shot/owned a dozen or more "D" bows in my life and will never want anything else...except maybe another Sweet Grass!!
I'm itching to see what it chronos out of curiosity. When unstrung it has a very slight R/D. Suprisingly fast compared to a radical R/D design.  I thought for sure my 2018's would have been overspined for this bow, put it spits them straight.
Just one more step please!

Funny thing is, both pics taken from the belly look differnt in the photo. It depends on how the light hits it. Natural camo!!
