My new shootin buddy!
« on: February 11, 2009, 09:00:00 PM »
Well I couldnt help but give my girlfriend her valentines day gift early since we had 70 degree weather in PA and I was dyin to get outside and shoot.  Mike Gibson of Olequa Bows custom made this for her and she is absolutely in love with it.  Just thought I would post some pictures of this work of art!

I got two pictures with her arrow coming through like that and I just had to post them, I think its so cool.  The brace height is very low and the feathers get into the riser, so I was thinkin about going with those RAZR feathers.  I think thats what they are called.  What do you think?

HAHA, I wont let her read that henry!  I'll tell you what though, she has pretty awesome form for only shooting a bow a few times...That bow arm is pretty steady to take those action shots!

Who made that bow and what are the specs on it? My wife says that if I got her a bow that she would shoot it.

Chester, his name is Mike Gibson, he goes by crimson mist on here.  The specs are 36#@ 24".  We had it made specifically for the weight she wanted.  It was definately worth it.

That is really awesome! I think I'll have to spray paint my girl's "little brave" in hot pink! She'd love it!

I definately think the pink will get her out shooting more, and I'm sure your lil girl would be the same way.
