Just wondering if any of you folks on here have hunted Southeastern Utah before or are looking to hunting it in the near future.

Not that far southeast   ;)  I hunt more due south than southeast, but I'm always looking for good areas (who isn't). I believe Todd (just a hunter) hunted down your way last year. What you have in mind?

I love Cedar Mesa and know it almost intimately and have found some amazing antler sheds there, but the heavy ATV traffic, much of it illegal in WSAs but no enforcement, keeps me away. Absolutely magical landscapes, however, Abbey country, indescribably so. Dave

I'm from La Sal. Born and raised in that part of the world. I hunt it all the time. It's good to see another on here from that part of the world.

I wrote a story of my last years adventure.

Here\\'s the link  if you are interested.

Take care,

Todd

Twitch, the triangle does look tempting, would be nice if they offered a hunt like that in a few other units. Good to see you still around Todd.

I hunted mule deer in 1967 in the Blanding area.  The Army had a camp on Black Mesa and one up in the Green River where Pershing Missiles were shot into the White Sands Missile Range.

I spent nearly a year total time in that area durng the two years I was assigned to a Pershing Battalion at Ft. Sill.  We roamed all that area from Lake Powell to Grand Junction, Green River, Cortez, Mexican Hat, Bluff and a few others I cannot recall at the moment.

One of the finest piece of real estate I've had the fortune to spend time in.  Also remember one night in Bluff that turned into a brawl that resembled the one in "North to Alaska."   :)

Always wanted to revisit the area and might yet.
