I've got exactly the opposite problem of most.
The wife won't leave my things alone, constantly moving things from one area to another.
Started with mounts in every room of the house: then they were all moved to the hallway. Now they are endlessly shifting from hallway to office.
Now have a collection of indigenous bows from South America and Asia along with arrows and quivers in the Hallway. These walls also hold 7 deer mounts, a 28 year old autographed pic of Ben Lee, My 1988 PBS Regular acceptance letter, (with a Reg member patch, custom framed with authentic knapped flint arrow heads. FRAMED BY MY WIFE, to congratulate me on being accepted.) In addition to 3 African european mounts, a hat collection and 2 swing scythes.
The office has 1 recently done shoulder mount,( the one in avatar), a Wildebeast, Impala, Blesbok, Wild Boar, and Gator, all skulls. Plus a Snow Goose and various other waterfowl. And 1 Picture of Ernest Hemingway with a marlin he caught I believe in the Bahamas.
This is also where the bows are kept, however per her orders they must be kept in closet. (They are on racks), because she knows they are probably worth more than I claim to have paid for them. (Smart Women) And she doesn't think advertising there whereabouts is such a good idea! At present there are 6 on the wall. There is also another 27 in a climate controlled storage unit, along with other things of mine which she believes take up to much valuable space in "her" house. She never seems to notice when the bows in the office are changed out with ones from the storage. Although has has asked what the empty pvc tubes in storage are for, and why they seem to multiply.
So I guess I can't complain, She gets the whole house and I get what she designates to me as she sees fit. I can live with that, even if things are constantly moved around.
