What spine arrows for a Hill bow????
«

I just received my Howard Hill (Cougar) yesterday, and want to get some nice wood arrows for it, but I'm not very familiar with a Hill.
The bow is 66" 45#@28" and I'm drawing 28" and want to shoot a 29" arrow with a 125gr point.
I would also like suggestions on aluminum spine as well.
Thanks,
Mike

I would probably start with 50-55's but there are a lot of factors that affect spine other than just draw weight so you might have to go up or down from there. My guess for aluminums would be 1916's.

My Half Breed is 45# @ 29" and I shoot 50-55 spine cedar shafts with 125gr up front. This was recommended by Craig and the arrows were built by Jason at Howard Hill. They shoot great and fly straight.

Wannabe1,
Do you draw 29" and shoot a 30" arrow?
I'm shooting 2016's right now cut to 29" with 190gr points and they are just about right, maybe just a tad stiff, but not by very much, and they spine at 61#.......
