Bear Gold Latch
« on: February 21, 2009, 09:53:00 PM »
Bear Co made 12 gold latch A risers in 2002 in celebrations of Freds 100th B-day.   We got to see on of the 12 this weekend at the Indy Deer and turkey expo.
Gene Hopkins is the owner.   He was there and allowed my son to hold it for a picture.

Very cool. You can tell by the death grip your boy was taking no chances of dropping it.    :)

The gold latch is a very neat riser, but I like the Maurice Thompson bow Gene has. I was at cloverdale when Gene took possesion of the bow. It is a work of art and a piece of archery history
