The LX 3 piece longbow, and the XR recurve lines has been expanded to include a compact riser version of each. The new models are the CLX and the CXR, with the C designating the compact riser which is 2" shorter than the originals. The limbs used on the new bows are the same static tip limbs used on the LX and XR, so the shorter riser simply reduces the overall length of the bows by 2 inches. With the new shorter risers it is possible to have a shorter overall bow and still have a full working limb. I have a 29" draw, and have a 56" CXR here that is one of the smoothest drawing short recurves I have ever had my hands on.
