Arrow Dynamic nocks
« on: February 28, 2009, 08:53:00 AM »
Wondering what collar and push in nocks work with AD's and AD lites?  I have some with and without and prefer the collar and smaller push in nock...sizes?

Thanks

ACC 3-28 Uni-bushing with a Easton G nock. Thats the BEST combo if you dont like glue on nocks.

Yup that's the set up I use and I have yet to experience any problems. Those g-nocks sure are tiny but amazingly easy to see.

That the way I like to do my AD's,is to use a ACC 3-28 bushing and use the large groove G-nock.Fits great on 12 strand D97 with .024 Halo.

Yes Larry, I use the Nitro lites. They are the same fit.

I've been using JB Weld on all nock adapter bushings for my customers. This stuff is the best I've seen.

Lewis,

I didn't know about such things. Where does a guy buy them?

Thanks,

You can get ACC 3-28 bushings at any big archery supplier or local pro shop. But you can also use the standard taper AD nock adpater and cut it off at the first groove closet to the shaft and G-nocks will fit.I done it both ways, either use the ACC 3-28 bushing or cut off the tapered nock adapter.
Larry I have used the same method on my AD Nitro's orange label, the Nitro's are just like the Trads and Trad Lite's but they are just stiffer and lighter weight.Easton ACC are a aluminum/carbons thats comes in many different sizes and spines almost like aluminum but they are usally $130+ a dozen for shafts.

Using JB Weld to epoxy an aluminum nock adapter onto which I glue a traditional 5/16" Merc Speed nock helps me forget I'm shooting a carbon shaft from my longbows and selfbows. This combo works well for a 14strand B50 Flemish string. I find the JB Weld to work well for the aluminum to carbon joint.

I'll earmark this thread if I ever switch to a skinny string needing a small G nock for fit.
