2018 with 55lbs Widow?

My Widow SAII 60" is 55 lbs at 28", I am drawing it to about 30, today I tried 2018 with 140 grain heads on and they seemed to fly better that the 2216 I was using. Is it me, is my arm tiredor is 2018 an appropriate arrow for this bow. [Black Widow suggested 2216], thoughts?

I have a 56# PSAIII and a 26" draw. Mine likes 2016's with 140 gr heads and loves gold tip 3555's. Those suggestions are simply a starting point they are not gospel.

If they fly good and the bow stays quiet than use the 2018's there is no rule book written on which arrows you have to shoot. it is best to play until you find what works I shoot a 46 @ 28 bow drawn to 31.5 it likes 340 carbons with 200 up front. Chris

Black Widow makes a fine bow but I think their "Widow Factor" should not be taken as if written in stone. We are all unique so shoot what works for you.

You're pulling somewhere around 61 lbs. at 30 inches. If you can get 2018's with a 140 gr. head to fly outta that bow, you are a better man that I am.

I shoot 2018's in my 60# Vision with 125 grain heads. They fly for me.

I have some 2016's that say 50-55. I shot them from my 50# Dreamcatcher with both Dacron and fast flight strings. I also did the same with my 50# Northern Mist longbow. In each case the 2016 was too stiff for the bows with a Dacron string. However, with both bows and the FF string they shot great. I would have to agree with what ever works for your particular setup is the best.

I would think a 2219 would be perfect spine and weight (more weight than a 2018). But if the 2018's are flying well ,why change.

so your really shooting 62# at your draw right" I'd say the minimum is 2117 depending on point,, have you bareshafted the 2018's,,, I doubt they'd fly good but if they do then the 2018 is a nice hunting arrow (2020 is a nice shaft also)
luvnlongbow---> defenitely try the 1916's or the 2016's (which spine @62#) with a 175gr point from the dacron. also 2114's for something that shoots flatter.

For comparison, I shoot a 2018, 125 gr point, fp/bh @ 30", 50 lbs bow and get great flight
