Snake Gaiters

Hey Gang,
I will be in the Texas panhandle for a few months doing wildlife work. I will be out walking on the prairie daily. I was curious if it would be advisable to pick up a pair of snake gaiters. Would those who know of/have hunted the area recommend them? Cheers, Matt

I have turtle skin snake proof pants and a set of the gators. The are much softer and easier to wear than other snake gators. Bad part is price is higher but mine have last for years and still look good.
