new Bob Lee LB & a robinhood
« on: March 03, 2009, 02:18:00 PM »
got my new Bob Lee 'short riser' longbow yesterday (58"s and 45# @ 28") and after a couple dozen shots....a robinhood! I was really liking the bow but man, is this good mojo or what?

Rob Lee and everyone at Bob Lee Archery was a real pleasure to deal with. I ask for the 'short' LB riser to be modified a bit and they came thru without a hitch. I'm a big fan of my BW SA III and my RER Vortex but this Bob Lee is right there with the best of'em plus, you just can't go wrong dealing with the sponsers here on tradgang.

hey Kip!  I ask Rob to make the throat a wee bit smaller and leave the heel a little higher. it has positive hand placement for sure. fits like a glove 'so to speak'. I tried those recurve limbs I got from you and they're really sweet. this is actually the first Bob Lee bow I've ever shot and now I realize I have been missing something.

Nice bow and shooting Danny, Don't go robinhooding all your arrows before ATAR. John Dill has a new Bob Lee longbow. I don't think I have to tell you that he shoots it right good. see ya soon . Don

thanks everybody for the nice comments!

hey Don!  not much chance of that. I get lucky and shaft about one a year. considering the amount of arrows I shoot in a year...that's not a very good average. LOL

I just ordered my second Bob Lee TD LOngbow w/ short riser. I've had a lot of bows, and most of them highly touted, and I still love my BW LAG and my Thunderstick Mag, but the Bob Lee shoots better for me! Rob knows his stuff, for sure!
