1980? custom kodiak takedown
« on: March 04, 2009, 04:45:00 PM »
Anybody have any idea's on a reasonable price for one of these.  I've been searching the classifieds and the auction sites and can't find one.  Got a buddy on another forum that might be looking to unload one for the right price.

I bought two of them back then for $199.00 each. Sold'em both. Go figure. I wouldn't have any idea what their worth today though. Sorry.

It is worth whatever someone will pay for it. Hard to put a value on items. Put a price on it and try and sell it for what you want for it. I have seen them go from $300 up to $500, just depends on how bad someone wants it.

Danny is pretty much spot on! They average about $400-$450 from what I have seen. They type 1's and 2's seem to bring more.
The man who thinks he can and the man who thinks he can't are both right!!!

Offer him $350.00 for it, that's a fair price, but feel free to pay $400.00 if it's in good shape.  I like the 80's Custom Kodiaks, riser is cut almost on top of your hand, and it's very slim.

I never should have made an offer now the Bstrd wants to hold onto it and see if it goes up in value anymore.  So now that beautiful bow will sit while he uses his training wheels.
