I shoot a canted bow and use a Hoyt Pro Rest...and have for decades.  It will not affect so-called instinctive shooting or arrow impact, unless you use multiple sight pins; only then, do you need to be concerned with keeping your bow vertical.

There is nothing any more simple than the old Hoyt stick on rest.  It would nearly be impossible to screw up a shot since you have only a retaining finger to hold the arrow.  They're are as easy to replace in the field as any rug rest....actually easier.

Hey Jason, it's a Shakespeare Necedah.  I really like the bow...sweet shooter, and has a pleasant habit of hitting where you're shooting.
