A very happy St. Paddy's day to you all!! I am over studying here in Ireland for a semester. There really isn't anything to hunt here besides some bird shooting. Bowhunting is really out of the question as is any big game hunting. Just no land for it. Take care, Matt

I travel to Ireland occasionally for work. Was there last Dec and saw a small archery range behind a house outside of Leixlip. The range consisted of 3 of the big American round butts (Olympic style?) and some racks to hold bows. It looked like they could shoot at least 60 - 70 meters. So, at least they shoot bows there

Hi Guys , Im in North Wales at the moment , And Yorkshire is were i am the rest of the time , there are a few UK Guys here, and there is no Bowhuntin in the UK . The bow is still seen as a poaching weapon in the UK, but hay there are lots of Archers , and you just have to go to other countrys to do the hunting.

I was born in Ireland, Belfast way back in mid 60's. I left in 70, only thing they hunted when I was there was catholics!! They have given that up since then. All my cousins hunt rabbits, pheasants and wild pigeons with shotguns. No archery hunting allowed in Ireland.

I'm a Kane of the O'Kanes of O'Caithein. My family were the warlords of Counties Ulster and Derry who kidnapped St. Patrick and brought him to Ireland. So all you who lift a pint today it's due to me warmonger forefathers.......I guess I'm proud to say....lol....
