I am going to gillette for work this sunday and will be there for a week. Is there any archery shops or ranges in the area that anyone knows of?

No, but there is plenty of public land if you want to just rove and stump shoot. Might be a bit brisk, though.

Don't know about shops, but they have tons of antelope. One of the best looking animals in the U.S. Good Luck on the shops.

There is a sporting good store coming in from the south on the left side of the highway. They do shoot archery leagues. Spots not 3D.

I don't know, but I did spend 9 months there as a 5 year old boy. Lots of Red Rock and Buttes to eat up arrows if my childhood memory serves me.

Chad,
Your post caught my eye because I'll be there the 16th and 17th for work as well.
I think the archery shop is a chain called Rocky Mountain Discount Sports. They have a store near me which also has an archery range, so it would make sense that this one does, too. Not sure how much $$ to shoot. Phone # is (307) 686-0221 if you want to find out in advance.
Maybe I'll see you there.

Hey thanks guys. I am definately loading the bow for the trip. I am going to check the seasons on jack rabbits. I might not even go to a shop if I can go shoot jacks. That's awesome! We dont have any jack rabbits in easern Nebraska. Thanks again ChadF

O.K. can any of you Wy. guys tell me if I can still shoot jack rabbits and prairie dogs. If so, do I need a non-resident small game license? Their website is difficult to understand. Any info is good. Thanks Chad F
