Fletching question
« on: March 11, 2009, 08:07:00 AM »
This is my first time fletching arrows and I'm getting frustrated.

When I use my Grayling jig with my right clamp and right wing feathers, the feathers seem to seat the way they should.

But...When I use my Grayling jig with my left clamp and left wing feathers the feathers do not seat/adhere the way they should.

I have adjusted the stupid jig several times and it just doesnt seem to work for the left clamp???????

Any ideas as to why or any tips to help out?

Thanks,
Charlie

i have a grayling also, never liked the way the left wing came out .right always seemed better but i have my best luck with the straight clamp and a slight offset.

DO you need a different nock indexer for left wing?
