Rit Dye on leather?
« on: March 15, 2009, 04:59:00 PM »
Hey all:

Its been a while, but I come to you all to humbly ask a question about leather crafting. Specifically about dying said leather. I am making a pocket quiver and would like to dye the leather black. I do not have any febings dye. with Rit clothing dye mixed with alcohol work as a leather dye? I will be tan coating the piece after it is done.

It will dye the leather but might rub off on your cloths and fade over time.
