in aussie we call it damper. even simpler recipe.

*self raising flour or plain flour with baking soda.
*pinch of salt
*water, or milk, or beer. (beer is good, acts as a levener)

mix together to a dough. minimal kneading.
though it straight in the coals and cover, or
place in a floured camp oven and cover in coals, or
cook on a stick as shown earlier with the bannock.
the best with butter and golden syrup!!

should turn out like this

Thick fog slowly lifts
Jagged peaks and hairy beast
Food for soul and body.

Border black douglas recurve 70# and 58# HEX6 BB2 limbs

Looks like a good day my friend.I'll keep your recipe for bannock in my file for later.

Any luck on finding a big bull for this season yet?Obviously they haven't any antlers now...maybe sheds?

Great thread!! Great pics! I love the rare thread makes me want to try something new, or just get out there. This one did both.

Guyzer, Do you have a twin brother that lives in North Pole AK.  Looked at your pic before looking at your location, I thought you were one of my friends from AK.  Showed the pic to my wife and she said, "Hey that's Robbie."  Scary look alike.
