Hey All, I want to snake skin my bow quiver hood,but don't want to buy a whole set of skins, my bow is skinned with prairie rattler skins, and i want the quiver to match!! My question is where could one find small pieces or scraps to buy? I only need a piece 3" x 9"! any help will be much appreciated!! thank you! Jim Oh the scrapes from when i skinned the bow are to small and I'll be using them for knife handles!

You might try calling Mike Yancy at Pine Hollow longbows and see if he saves anything like that. Or call a bowyer that does snakeskins.

maineac, thanks, I remember your post on that! I know you can't go wrong with mike at pine hollow!! I'm just looking for scraps, i'll call mike on monday, i'm sure he can help or steer me in the right direction!! Jim
