If I remember my BC reg's, I think tht other than the minimum width, and the barbed bit, it is pretty open.
They outlawed poison and/or drug bearing arrows, and any "explosive" head. I have never seen such an contraption, but I suppose someone did get caught with sonething of that nature.
A fellow I went to school with, his father used to bow hunt with a long bow, and his "broadheads" were home made, but I really can't remember what they were like. I think he used the blade from a large metal cutting bandsaw.
