Granbys Guide Service BC
« on: March 22, 2009, 07:40:00 AM »
Has any one ever herd of or hunted with Granbys Guide service in BC? I'm doing spot and stalk bear end of May. What kind of weather should I expect. I'm thinking 30-70s with plenty of rain, sound right?

Wooo, do i feel stupid. Granby is run by my neighbour. I never realized what the business was actually called.
Our last two springs have been cooler and damp a little longer, but have suddenly become warm and dry quickly. You'll be hunting from 3900 to about 65oo feet in elevation, depending on the snowpack (which is low this year).
I don't do F but look for anywhere from 0 to -2C overnight and plus 5 to plus 15C during the days. Weather changes valley to valley, and Barry has a large territory.Terrain varies, but good hiking type boots are a must. Enjoy your time here, and if you flyfish, throw in your five weight.
