How would you like to run across these beauties while out stumping. LOL

So where's the third ?  Thats the " dance " of two rival males fighting for dominance. Must be a female close by. Very cool pic, would love to witness it myself someday

I got to see a whole ball of snakes mating one time, must have been twenty snakes in it. They were all bull snakes.

That's pretty cool, especially since it's in Texas and not New Hampshire.....

Great photos!!!  You're a lucky man to have seen that and very smart to have recorded it!  Years ago I watched a pair of Kirtland's water snakes do that as they swam in a muddy slough.  A big, hungry alligator gar ended their tussle...     :readit:      :)

I hate snakes, unless they're hides are glued to the back of a bow! Cool pic though.
...stood alone on a montaintop, starin out at a great divide, I could go east, I could go West, it was all up to me to decide, just then I saw a young hawk flyin and my soul began to rise......

JD at whisperstik bows and I skinned some bows a week ago. He did one of his for sale and I did one of mine. Very neat process, but to do it right a bowyer with experience is always a huge help. When I say I did mine, I mean I did probably a decent %, and he is going well above and beyond what I asked of him in helping me. He was skinning one of his new take-down bows. Those are shooting machines!

We can take all we want no restictions. They have a rattlesnake round up every year in Sweetwater and you can also so sell them live in Colorado City for $4.50 a pound. I do not hunt them anymore cause I aint young, dumb and stupid anymore. LOL. Used to gas their dens and catch them alive and put in a gunny sack to take and sell em.
