Short pig/turkey hunt this morning
« on: March 27, 2009, 05:37:00 PM »
I took my new longbow Marty made for me to the swamp today. I was hoping to hear some gobbling this morning or maybe get on some pork. It rained last night and the Turkeys did`nt say much where I was at so I followed a ridge bordering the flooded swamp looking for pork.

I managed to get into pigs twice and spooked them both times. Once seconds before I was getting ready to shoot.Being positive that means there will be just that many left for next time...lol.

I took a few pics of some flowers and such hope you enjoy.RC

swamp persimmons are easy to spot this time of year. The blackest tree in the swamp. This one is in a promising spot that I`ll check come Sept.

When I got home it was raing and this old girl was in the backyard. Picture us dull because I took it through the tinted kitchen window.

those pics are outstanding.  For some reason, the picture of the white blossoms with the water in the background pushes my button.  Good job.
