McCullough Fiftyniner Photos Please!
« on: April 04, 2009, 01:09:00 AM »
I'm gonna ask this again as the last time I only got a couple of photos of John's Fiftyniners.  I would really appreciate any photos you have of your Fiftyniners as I am about to make the difficult decision on what wood combinations to put together for this bow!  I am also interested in hearing what your thoughts are on how the Fiftyniner shoots compared to the Griffin.  Thanks and take care, Mike

Mike,

Check out the beauty Gene Carroll has listed for trade in the classifieds....he has an absolutely GORGEOUS combo!

I've never shot a Griffen, but I now own the Ebony/Bocote 59r previously shown on your earlier post (by Joe/VT). I LOVE IT! It is a very smooth, and exceptionally quiet bow.

Good luck,

I have 2 Griffin L/B's, both a 1 piece and a 2 piece with the bow bolt. Absolutely love them. They fit my hand as near perfect as I can imagine. Performance is very good, are easy to tune, and not real spine or arrow particular.  Light in the hand for those all day walks thru the woods or sage brush.  I have bought and traded in excess of 50 custom bows looking for "The Bow". For me, these are it!   :knothead:

I'd love to find a lefty like Gene's. I've thought about ordering one, but the wait is just too long. I've even called John 3 or 4 times through the years thinking he may have a lefty on hand....no such luck.
