New Bow - Brackenbury Non-Typical
« on: April 05, 2009, 02:03:00 PM »
Here's some pics of a new Brack and they don't do the bow justice at all.          I have never met a bowyer that put more of him into a bow then Bill Howland, great man to do business with and a super nice guy.     :clapper:      This is a sweet shooting and very quiet longbow. This one is 64" 53# @ 28" Zebra and Macasser Riser and Cathedral cut Zebra veneers with Yew cores.

Absolutely stunning bow! How long was the wait?

Sorry tried posting the pics up here but they are bigger than 640 pixels.

As for the wait, I believe Bill has caught up and has a big inventory of these in the shop.

:knothead:  Oh, this isn't April Fools?

Actually, I think the wait is 12-14 months, but sure looks like it's worth it.  That's a good one!

That's a beautiful bow.  I love my Brack's, a Quest and a Sidekick.  One of these days, I'll add a NT!

The advertised lead time is now 24 months. It was 12 when I ordered mine. 18 months and counting............................

I have an original Brackenbury, looks like I should try on of Bill's also. Thanks for the great pics of a beautiful bow.
